We’ve said it before – matched pairs are a bear. Assigning them to our volunteers is like pulling teeth. It’s so difficult to match the materials, to make sure the bows are equal and placed properly, and there is a certain boredom factor that must be factored in. Some have suggested we charge a premium for matched pairs, but so many of our neighborhood doors are double doors just calling out for a matched pair that we continue to decline to do that. We do, however, assess a surcharge on three or more matched wreaths, and that surcharge is going up in 2018. Below is an example of a beautiful matched pair where everything came out just right.
